boy, don't i just feel like blogging? i know it 4 a.m. and it isn't exactly the best time to blog, but i just can't sleep! insomnia, you may call it, at a developing stage. and yes, i am being really quiet here. trying to not wake anyone up, especially my grandmother =P.
let's play with a little math, shall we? you know the feeling, right? when u had too much garlic, or may it wasn't ur fault. the chef, cook or whatever u term him may have sauteed his delicacies with too much garlic. oh, the dreaded feeling, right?! for those who have not had a good taste of the ultimately regretful sensation, here's a hint, a really big one. after dinner (with the extreme garlic garnishes which u chomped equally well with ur meal), ur mouth feels guilty, with a slight airy feeling in it. now, if u try biting a clove of raw garlic and chewing it hard, i'm not saying u should, u get the superb stinging sensation in ur mouth and then grab a glass of water, thinking it'll save u like how it did chillies, but no, it only worsens. soon after ur meal, u think a tooth-brushing will do the trick after the stinging wears off, but no, it bugs u in the tummy! and yes, water doesn't help. u get a really bad bloating sensation deep in ur digestive tract, which doesn't wear off for what seems like an eternity (actually depends on ur consumption).
now, add that to some wonderful dinner, yes, the garlic-ful dinner u just had, a sumptious offering of barbecued cuts of beef, mutton, chicken, liver, gizzard, garlic bread and all sorts of protein-filled food. have that multiplied with the fact that it's all-u-can-eat. then divide by the probability that ur not scared of getting fat - zero. hey, that's easy maths! anything divided by zero is ... infinity! yes, the big inverted '8'!! so, yea, i ate like there no tomorrow and totally regret it now that i still feel so bloated even though it has been about 7 hours since my dinner.
btw, the place seems to be a new place in damansara jaya. it's called "CARNAVAL". yes, not carnival. no spelling error. and it's brazillian barbecue all night long. it's rm48 per pax for adults and rm18 for kids under 12. nice food, and all-u-can-eat. nightmarish combination, huh?
i received a reply from the principal of concord college in uk. it seems they don't have room for the jan intake, but i really feel like going there. i already sent in my particulars, now all that's left is which course i want to take. now, it's real decision-making time. taylors or concord? taylors is one and a half years, concord is two. taylors would cost about rm30k, concord would cost ten times that price. i can get jan for taylors, but can only get sept for concord. i'll stay home if i can get to taylors, but have to board in shrewsbury if i go for concord. decisions, decisions, decisions ... maybe i'll wait a while. it's too fast! all of a sudden i'm leaving secondary school!
btw, i'm hearing voices!
